Carter got his start in the industry in high school with welding and collision repair instruction. He got his professional start right here at A.U.T.O. Collision. He’s passionate about painting and opening his own paint shop someday. What you probably don’t know about Carter is his passion playing the ukulele. In his off time, you’ll likely find him playing ukulele, taking a long drive to explore new areas, hanging out with family and friends, or expressing himself through airbrushing, welding and sculptures. A ’67 Shelby Mustang GT500 or Nissan 6TR are among his dream cars.
John joined A.U.T.O. Collision a year ago but he’s been around the profession for 25 years. He enjoys repairing damaged vehicles back to pre-accident condition and the great work environment and team he works with at A.U.T.O Collision. He jumpstarts his day with coffee. When he’s not repairing cars to like-new condition, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, family time, cutting firewood and rooting on the Dallas Cowboys. You’ll also find him hanging out with family or at the Gorge. Ask him about his dream car and you’ll find out that he’d love to be driving the General Lee, a ’69 RT Charger.
Max has been part of the A.U.T.O. Collision team for eight years. He started doing auto body work and paint with his dad and got his first job in the profession in 1972. He’s been working in the field ever since. He’s a family man who’s passionate about being a grandpa and helping his children with life. He’s also a collector of coins, stamps and lapel pins and says favorite travel locations include the Bahamas, New York, China and Rome. He laughs most thanks to good comedy movies. Ask him about his dream car and he’ll tell you it would be a Ferrari.
Shelby’s been in the the auto collision repair industry for a year. Customers satisfaction is one of the best parts of the work she does and says her willingness to go the extra mile helps her achieve happy customers. Shelby doesn’t need an alarm clock to get out of bed each morning. That’s because her dog, Maui, has assumed that role, pestering Shelby until she provides food. She serves a grateful nation as a member of the Army Reserve. In her off time, you’ll likely find her enjoying sports and following the LA Dodgers. Her dream car would be a 1968 Shelby.
Travis has lent his talents to A.U.T.O. Collision for the past three years. Like Carter though, he started in the industry right out of high school. He’s a self-professed work-a-holic, but follows West Virginia University sports and enjoys Harley Davidson motorcycles and mountains. His two daughters bring sunshine and laughter to his life. If there were to be a movie made of his life, he’d cast Jim Carey in the lead.
Chris has worked in several shops performing tasks including painting semis and trailers at a large trucking company and working on custom motorcycles. His largest project had to be a school bus used to transport truck drivers. Chris attended Salt Lake Community College to begin his career in the automotive field. After working for Dan Worth at Worth Customs, Chris took the leap and founded A.U.T.O. Collision. When he’s not at work, Chris enjoys spending time in the mountains camping, fishing and mountain biking.
Statistically, teens are at a greater risk to be involved in an auto accident. This makes sense because although their senses are the sharpest, they are the least experienced on the road. Not only are teens the least experienced, they are also more likely to be distracted by cell phones, or friends in the car […]
